Most people on T4T Market are honest, but a few tips keep you safe.

For buyers

• Meet the seller in a busy public place during the day
• Inspect the item carefully before you pay
• Never send money or a deposit before you have seen the item
• Check documents for vehicles, land and property with the relevant authorities
• If a price seems too good to be true, it probably is

For sellers

• Don't hand over the item until payment has reached you in full
• Be careful with "overpayment" offers and requests to refund the difference
• Never share PINs, passwords or one-time codes with anyone
